In this series of art mono prints am using prints of plants and weeds that have escaped from the garden into the bush. These exotic aliens can result in a fragmentation of habitat and a subsequent impact on biodiversity. This can occur on the fringes of suburbia or in fire ravaged National Parks.
In this series of art mono prints l am using plants from Australian natives grown in the Jervis Bay area. Tissue and stitching is added to create an evocative and subdued effect of layered colour and texture.
The Collograph is an ideal way of recreating a landscape in art. Layers are added just like the land itself. Colours and texture complete the mono print.
